Bernd Vorjans
Bernd Vorjans studied Political
Science. Engagements as cinema operator, employee of
Berlin’s International Film Festival as well as
freelance author. Between 1986 and 1988 he was on the
academic staff of the Faculty of Political Science at
the FU, 1988-90, for the German parliament’s Foreign
Cultural Policy subcommittee. Following the fall of the
Berlin Wall he was commissioned by the Federal Ministry
for German Internal Relations as consultant to the East
German Culture Minister. Between 1991-98 Bernd was
director of the public Foundation for Cultural Education
and Dialogue in Berlin.
Since 1999 he has been
managing director of the film production company OCTOPUS
MEDIA, and produced several films.
Since 2001 he
has been a partner in The.Lab art & media, where his
main responsibilities have been for contractual and
financial affairs.
