Uwe Möller
Uwe Möller, born in Bochum, studied
dance in Zurich and Monte Carlo. Engagements as dancer
in Monte Carlo, Munich, Nuremberg, Tokyo and Freiburg.
Between 1994 and 1997 he was a member of the management
of TANZWERK Nürnberg (gaining the cultural award from
the City of Nuremberg for TANZWERK in 1996). From 1997
to 2000 he was dancer, assistant and ultimately
executive producer under Amanda Miller (Ballet Freiburg
Pretty Ugly) at the Freiburg Theatre, simultaneously
postgraduate studies in Cultural Management at the
College of Education, Ludwigsburg. In the 2000/01 season
he left Freiburg and joined the dance theatre of Joachim
Schlömer as its executive producer at the
Basel.
